Mobile device access to Straightsell websites - February 2018

With 28.7% of traffic on Straightsell servers coming from mobile phones and tablets and almost 51% of traffic coming from mobile phones and tablets, Australia wide, per the Statcounter statistics below, it has never been more important to have a website optimised for mobile devices.  Contact us you want to know if your website is optimised for mobiles.

The graphic below show that mobile device access is 28.7% of total traffic, an increase from 27.5% based on the last statistics taken in November 2017, and an increase from 21.8% based on statistics taken in April 2016:

Mobile phones continue to dominate the overall traffic with 74.7% of mobile traffic, up from 68.3% in November 2017, and up from 69.6% in April 2016:

Apple devices continue to dominate our statistics and account for nearly 70% of total Straightsell mobile traffic, with Android devices generating just over 28% of traffic. Apple iPhone traffic share continues to grow with 49.6% of traffic compared to 43.3% in November 2017, and 35.6% in April 2016.

The Straightsell mobile traffic statistics are below the overall Australian Market, per Statcounter below, presumably because of the wholesale B2B focus of the majority of Straightsell customers.

NOTE: To gather our statistics, we take a snapshot of one week's traffic and analyse the user-agent strings to create the breakdown of what devices are accessing the Straightsell platform.
